The Royal Wedding...in St. Louis?

After spending all morning watching the Royal Wedding...ahhh to be a Princess :)...we headed for St. Louis for Toni and Shae's big day.  We picked up Jess and R.J. on the way and stopped at Red Robin for lunch (of course :)) and then headed to the hotel.  We got to the hotel, got ready and then stood outside waiting for the shuttle to come and pick us up....well we waited...

..and waited..

...and waited...

So we got a cab and walked into the wedding as the mom's were coming down the aisle (oops!!).  It was the shortest wedding I have ever been to.  If we had gotten there 5 minutes later we would have missed the whole ceremony.  We hopped back on the shuttle and headed to Schlafly's Brewery for the reception.
It was an absolute blast! They only had beers that they brew so it contributed to a pretty good hangover the next day. :)

I was glad to be able to spend some time with the Strohls and Sigfrieds.

And the lovely bride and groom <3

I have to add some pretty amazing dance photos!

I love this guy! :)

One of my favorite photos of all time!!!

Steve and Dad fist pumping! Nothing like bringing a little Jersey Shore to the Midwest. ;)

Obviously we're having a really good time!  We had finally made it back to the hotel and decided we needed food and some good beer (BUD LIGHT!!)

These chili cheese fries definitely don't help with the whole losing weight plan...but they sure were delicious!!!

And a great family shot to end the night!  It was a fun and beautiful wedding and Steve and I's first wedding since we've gotten married! <3 I have to admit, it's a lot less stressful when it's not your wedding! :)

We came home Saturday and the rest of the weekend was spent recovering from Friday night.  On Saturday we rented the Narnia: The Voyage of the Dawn Treader and Hereafter.

I would definitely recommend Narnia...Hereafter not so much.  It was so slow and nothing big really happened past the first 5 minutes of the movie.

We had turkey brats (which Steve actually said "weren't too bad"), garlic potato smashers, and mango salsa.  Absolutely delicious! :)

Sunday we laid around and then met up with my parents at McGorry's Golf and Grille.  It was the perfect end to a pretty amazing weekend!  Now I'm back to work and it's close! :(  I hate when that falls on a Monday.  We'll see what next weekend holds since it's Mother's Day weekend! :)
